Another labour of love that I have finally finished, this lovely teapot I bought on Ebay I loved it's 'Art Nouveau' shape and it's lovely feet and handle. The silver plate, belonging to my daughter, has a pierced design from the same era, as you can imagine painting the design of the plate gave me a few more grey hairs ;)
The simplicity of the design with three objects linked together by the plate and three distinct areas of color. I love the silver resting against the grey and the copper in front of the dark. So many discoveries in what I thought at first was a quiet piece. Look at the curve of that marvelous handle!
